This is the best BCD I have ever dove; it allows for more freedom of movement in the arm area. I loved the idea of no cummerbund, just the elastic waist buckle, this allowed for unrestricted breathing. I wasn't sure if I would like the fold down pockets, but they turned out to be a great feature, they were only there if I needed them. The inflator also has the perfect shape for my hand.
In my other BCD, I often struggled to get the weight pockets in and clipped, not the case with this BCD, the pockets slid in without any problems and also the weights contoured nicely to my body.
The knife holder and daisy chain are nice features that allow for flexibility and varied attachments. I love that this BC folds flat and takes half the space of my other BCD. Since many of the airlines have started charging for checked luggage, the weight of this BC is a real benefit to travelers.

I recently purchased the Aeris 5 Oceans BCD for a trip to Anthony's Key Resort in Roatan Honduras. The BCD was great, some items I liked on the 5 Oceans BCD:
- Great for travel, packs nice and flat in luggage.
- Comfort, very comfortable BCD underwater, easy on and off.
- Inflator, I love the easy to use inflator and pull exhaust and it didn't drift away from my body.
- Weight Pockets, easy to load and unload.
- Hide a pocket, great for holding a light and camera accessories, and the zipper does not get stuck like other BCD's do.
- I noticed in pictures of me from others divers that I was very streamlined underwater and had great neutral buoyancy control and I didn't use as much air on dives.
I very much like the Aeris 5 Oceans BCD and would strongly recommend it to my students, customers and staff.

As a Dive Instructor working on a dive boat 5-6 days a week I dive a lot and my gear has to work and be comfortable. The AERIS 5 Oceans BC has been very comfortable and is very streamlined in the water with nothing in front of you to get in the way when working with students and other divers. The weight pockets and the trim weights on the tank band strap have been sufficient to carry the 16lbs I need to compensate for my 7mm suit and have worked well. I am looking forward to having a lighter weight BC for dive travel as the airlines have made it a chore to bring your dive gear. The 5 Oceans BC is a great value because now I don’t have to have 2 BCs one for travel and one for my everyday dives.
